Every black armband is preventable

No one wants to wear a black armband because of a fatality from drink driving. For one in every seven crashes in NSW where someone loses their life, drink driving is a factor.1 These statistics could represent someone we know. They could be a teammate, a coach, a legend in the stands.

Let’s help put a stop to these preventable deaths by keeping our members safe on and off the field.

Make sure everyone is getting home safely and prevent driving under the influence by putting together your Safe Transport plan today with Good Sports.

As part of the Good Sports program, your club will put together a Safe Transport plan. Your plan will implement three safe transport practices from the Guide to Safe Transport to make sure your members get home safely after a game or celebration.

If you’re already an existing Good Sports club, log in to the portal to access the full range of free tools and resources.
