Tasmanian grants program - Terms & Conditions

Acceptance of conditions:

  1. Information regarding grants and how to apply forms part of these conditions. By submitting your application, you are accepting these conditions.
  2. The ‘Good Sports Tasmanian Grants Program’, hereafter referred to as ‘the grants program’ is being run by the Alcohol and Drug Foundation, hereafter referred to as the “ADF”, Level 12, 607 Bourke Street, Melbourne, 3000. ‘Entrant’ refers to the club representative submitting the application to the grants program.

Entry requirements:

  1. This program is only available to Good Sports clubs located in Tasmania. Clubs must be logged into the new Good Sports online portal and started or completed their questionnaire to be eligible for the grants program.
  2. To enter, a club must complete the application form and provide the required details including club and contact name, contact details, and a statement outlining how you anticipate a grant will help your club to further embed the Good Sports Program.
  3. Grant items are not exchangeable for cash.
  4. Items supplied through the grants program are not negotiable.
  5. Clubs that receive a grant are encouraged to complete a final feedback form.
  6. Recipients must be prepared to acknowledge the Tasmanian Department of Health as the funders of the grant program.
  7. Applications for the program close on 31/01/2023.
  8. Clubs will be informed in writing of the outcome of their grant application within four weeks of the close of applications.
  9. The ADF will assess the grant applications and determine the successful applicants. The ADF may request further information to clarify the application content and ensure there is sufficient information to determine successful applicants. Awarding of grants is at the discretion of ADF staff, and subject to the recipient being able to meet the objectives of the Good Sports program.
  10. Subject to relevant state authority approval, the ADF reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions of this Competition at any time.
  11. The ADF is not responsible for any technical malfunctions or problems with internet or network congestion, including injury or damage to a Club or any other person’s computer related to participation in this promotion and problems with transmission of applications over the internet. The ADF accepts no responsibility for lost, late, or misdirected applications.
  12. By applying, the Club acknowledges and agrees that the ADF may use the Entrant clubs Personal Information in the manner set out in this condition. Entrants may unsubscribe at any time after they apply. All information is in line with the ADFs Privacy Policy.
  13. By participating in the program and opting in, the Club acknowledges that a further, primary purpose for collection of Personal Information is to enable the Alcohol and Drug Foundation to use the information to assist the ADF in improving goods and services and to contact the Entrant in the future with information on special offers or to provide the Entrant with marketing materials via any medium including mail, telephone and email, or any other form of electronic, emerging, digital or conventional communications channel whether existing now or in the future. This information will not be disclosed to any 3rd parties with excepting the distribution of grant material.
  14. All grant related activities must be completed by 30 June 2023. Any awarded grant activities not completed by this date will be forfeit.
