In October, we’re helping to celebrate National Mental Health Week and National Nutrition Week by sharing some of our Good Sports resources.
Feel free to use these at your club to help spread positive messages about mental health and nutrition.
National Mental Health Week (8th – 14th October)
Mental Health Week is about raising awareness around mental illness and challenging misconceptions and misrepresentations. Local sporting clubs have an important role to play in addressing the stigma around mental illness and supporting members who may be experiencing mental health issues.

National Nutrition Week (15th – 21st October)
National Nutrition Week is Nutrition Australia’s annual healthy eating awareness campaign. The theme this year is Try For 5 which aims to encourage Australians to increase their vegetable consumption to the recommended five serves per day. At Good Sports, we support local clubs to do their bit to role-model healthier food choices through our Healthy Eating program.
