The Good Sports Project Officer (PO) role is a very flexible community development position, working directly with community sporting clubs, associations, and some local councils across the Eyre Peninsula. All training and information is provided, with support from the Adelaide office. We are looking for someone who can work around 30-40 hours per month although there is scope to do more where there is demand from clubs. It would suit someone looking to supplement other part-time work, who is comfortable with public speaking and engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders, predominantly sporting club volunteers and committees. The work is mostly out-of-hours (eg. on week-nights when sporting clubs and committees meet) though some clubs are able to meet during the day.
