Parndana signs up first
Parndana Sports Club recently became Kangaroo Island’s first sports club to become Good Sports Level 1 accredited.
Parndana Sports Club has already introduced initiatives to support the health and wellbeing of their members, including swapping the after-match beer for a sports drink and serving free bottled water to patrons in their licensed area.
President Bernie May said Parndana Sports Club was taking a proactive approach and working hard to provide the right environment for people to enjoy their sport and socialise.
Four other Kangaroo Island sporting clubs have also joined the Good Sports Program, they include Dudley United Football Club, Kingscote Football Club, Western Districts Memorial Community and Sports Centre and Wisanger Sports Club.
