Daniel Bowles of Adelaide United visits Willowburn Football Club
Willowburn Football Club Inc was formed in 1949 and is Toowoomba’s oldest Football Club in the Football Toowoomba Inc Competition. We are only a small club with less than 150 total players including juniors and seniors.
This year we were the “First club in Queensland” to be awarded Level 3 qualification by Good Sports for the responsible services of alcohol at our club. In April former Willowburn player Daniel Bowles made a surprise visit to the club to catch-up with he 2012 Colts Team.
His visit brought inspiration to the players to see what can be achieved from club level to being signed by tems like Brisbane Roar, (the former Gold Coast United) and now Daniel has signed recently with Adelaide United.
Willowburn Football Club Inc is extremely proud of Daniel’s success and thanked him sincerely for his surprise visit to words of inspiration to our Colts Team.
