Chargers Promote Mental Health
The final South East Australian Basketball League home game for the Hobart Chargers Basketball Club had a blue theme to promote the clubs participation in Good Sports, Good Mental Health – Build Your Game. Over 1,500 people attended the soldout game. 500 beyondblue sports packs were available on the night, along with youth beyondblue wrist bands which were quickly snapped up by young basketballers attending.
The Chargers’ official cheer squad, Southern Allstars Cheer and Dance looked fantastic in their custom-made special blue ribbons. The game was also the farewell home game for Chargers player and Good Sports Tasmanian manager, Mark Nash (pictured below), who will hang up his boots after the 2012 playoffs.
